Where You'll Make a Difference
  • Execute routine experiments, investigations and work tasks under guidelines established by the project leader
  • Carry out and coordinate more complex routine tasks in support of R&D and process activities
  • Audit own work to ensure completion of assigned tasks and achievement of project and program objectives
  • Actively exchange data, samples and technical information within the team
  • Operate a defined set of laboratory and process equipment and troubleshoot as appropriate
  • Apply scientific and engineering methodologies relevant to process and R&D activities
  • Identify potential technical, operational or process-related issues
  • Thoroughly document experiments, including apparatus, reagents and operating conditions
  • Communicate unexpected results and discuss suggested improvements with the team
What Makes You the Right Fit
  • High school degree is required
  • Sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems (7 to 12 months)
  • Ability to follow defined procedures while executing routine and moderately complex tasks
  • Basic understanding of job-related scientific, technical or process principles
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation
  • Ability to communicate clearly within the team and with stakeholders outside the immediate group
  • Awareness of intellectual property (IP) processes and the importance of protecting proprietary knowledge
  • Collaborative mindset with willingness to support and train others
  • Commitment to safety, ethics and EH&S standards
