Description: NSI requires a Deputy Program Liaison to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Program Office. The Deputy will support via managing government contracts, coordinating stakeholder engagements, overseeing compliance activities, and ensuring smooth, efficient operations across multiple fast-moving programs. This role requires exceptional organization, strong communication skills, the ability to quickly grasp complex technical and contractual information, and the confidence to represent leadership in meetings and negotiations. The ideal candidate is highly proactive, people-focused, adaptable, and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

Government Contract Support

- Assist in the review, organization, and management of government contract requirements, deliverables, and timelines.

- Support preparation of contract documentation, modifications, funding actions, and reporting materials.

- Monitor contract compliance and help ensure obligations, milestones, and financials are met and documented properly.

- Work closely with internal program, finance, and compliance personnel to track execution and identify emerging issues.

Stakeholder Engagement & Meeting Support

- Represent leadership in meetings with government customers, industry partners, and internal teams as needed.

- Coordinate meeting schedules, agendas, talking points, and follow-up actions.

- Participate in stakeholder discussions, provide clear summaries, and help drive decisions and outcomes.

- Support negotiation efforts by preparing materials, capturing key points, and ensuring alignment with program goals.

Program & Information Management

- Work in a fast-paced, information-dense environment-filtering, organizing, and prioritizing large volumes of data for leadership.

- Support preparation of presentations, briefings, and written communications to senior leaders and external partners.

- Maintain organized records of commitments, discussions, agreements, and action items.

- Track and update program financials, budget data, and contract-related cost information as needed.

Compliance & Governance

- Assist with ensuring adherence to corporate, contractual, and regulatory requirements.

- Help monitor internal processes related to reporting, security, deliverables, and documentation.

- Coordinate with compliance and security personnel to ensure agreements and procedures remain current.

Travel & Field Support

- Travel with or on behalf of leadership to meetings, events, conferences, and program sites when required.

- Provide onsite support during major reviews, demonstrations, or partner engagements.

Location: Panama City Beach, FL

Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.

Experience: Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to interact professionally with senior-level personnel. Highly organized and efficient, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment. Demonstrated ability to learn complex information quickly. Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to engage with teams, partners, and stakeholders. Ability to understand basic financials, contract structure, and program documentation. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and related productivity and data-management tools. Willingness and ability to travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience supporting government programs, federal contracting, or defense-related organizations.

- Familiarity with FAR/DFARS concepts, funding mechanisms, or contract deliverable requirements.

- Experience in negotiations, stakeholder management, or customer-facing roles.

- Prior exposure to compliance, audits, or regulatory processes.

- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with budgets, schedules, or performance data.

Working Conditions:

- Fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and shifting priorities.

- Combination of office, remote, and travel-based work depending on program needs.

- Occasional extended hours during major reviews or required submissions.

Security Clearance: Secret Clearance is required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
