What Makes You a Fit

• 5+ years of experience as a CNC machinist or machine operator
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints and program codes
• Experience with manual and CNC machining equipment
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with production tracking systems
• High School Diploma or GED required

Preferred Skills

• Experience with multi-process manufacturing environments
• Forklift or crane certification (a plus)
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented setting

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and work instructions to determine machining requirements
• Perform complex machine setups and operate CNC and manual machines (lathes, mills)
• Conduct pre-operational inspections and verify machine accuracy through trial runs
• Select and install tooling, fixtures, and materials for production
• Run parts through various processes including welding, saws, brake presses, polishing, heat treat, and more
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy
• Troubleshoot machining issues and resolve problems with minimal supervision
• Track production time and maintain accurate documentation and quality records
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist junior operators
