PRIMARY PURPOSE

We are seeking an Offshore Aviation Operations Lead (Logistics Lead) to oversee all GOA Flight Operations out of the Houma and Lake Charles Heliport.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide leadership, guidance and support for safety in Oxy's Aviation operations.
  • To make sure that all personnel flying out to an Oxy Platform or Drillship follows all policies and procedures required at both Houma and Lake Charles Heliports
  • To schedule flights utilizing the helicopters that Oxy has on contract
  • Responsible for making sure that the Logistics Aviation Team is aware of any upcoming work or changes that'll affect planning
  • Responsible for Allocations of Helicopters on contract monthly.
  • Responsible for Allocations of SMS, Helipass Invoices monthly
  • Responsible for attending DWOPs, CWOP's and to be onsite when we have VIP, Leadership Team Flights

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Education: High school diploma. Some college or technical training preferred.

Professional / Technical Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications :

  • Minimum: T-HUET
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years in operations and/or logistics within the petrochemical, refining, onshore or offshore oil and gas industries.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Deepwater oil and gas.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Familiarity and understanding of Helipass software and processes as used in Logistics Aviation Operations.
  • Familiarity and understanding of Oxy Logistics procedures.
  • Familiarity and understanding of Aviation Verbiage.
  • Familiarity and understanding of Aviation operations and Oxy's requirements regarding Aviation operations.
  • Understand what the Helicopter Companies policies are:
  • Familiarity and understanding of helicopter operations and Oxy's requirements regarding aviation operations.
  • Familiarity and understanding of how ISNetworld software works
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
