Description

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Leads PM and technical support activities, as delegated by department manager.
* Leads or participates in continuous improvement projects focused on equipment reliability or production improvements.
* Identifies needed improvements to production equipment and helps establish metrics to measure improvements.
* May support the maintenance staff to perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
* Evaluates and assesses maintenance staff to determine training needs and develops employees to improve their maintenance skills and interpersonal skills.
* Responsible for assessing maintenance impact on plant performance with respect to improving OEE via uptime, throughput, waste/loss, and product quality.
* Communicate daily activity of work order status with production leaders and various internal customers.
* Support troubleshooting activities with maintenance staff and utilize all available resources to correct maintenance issues in an expedient manner.
* Responsible for communicating with production leaders to identify critical tasks to be addressed.
* Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
* Utilize EAM to track and maintain maintenance records on all maintenance and repairs to process and plant equipment.
* Communicate with department manager to address priority needs, concerns, and overall state of maintenance department.
* Responsible for PM development and implementation, identifying key parts inventory and management.
* Audits maintenance inspections and completed checklists to identify problems as early as possible and ensure tools are being utilized effectively.
* May establish and provide training regarding existing, new or revised processes related to production equipment.
* Monitors daily activities of maintenance staff to ensure Company assets are being utilized effectively.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential accountabilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.)
Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar field, or a combination of education and related experience in industrial maintenance. Ability to communicate in a positive and professional manner. Strong verbal, written and analytical skills. Demonstrated Leadership skills.

* Must be able to communicate face-to-face.
* Occasional lifting up to 50lbs.

* Work environment includes occasional hot and cold temperatures.
* Requires good visual acuity with depth perception and color vision.
