Compliance Manager
Position Summary
Fortis Healthcare Solutions, in partnership with Prime Time Healthcare, is seeking a high-performing Compliance Manager to lead and execute critical compliance and credentialing operations. This role is instrumental in ensuring our clinicians are fully vetted, compliant, and ready to deliver exceptional patient care across the country. Reporting directly to the VP of Compliance, this individual will take ownership of day-to-day compliance functions, support team performance across both in-office and remote environments, and ensure strict adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards. Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage daily compliance and credentialing operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness across all processes
- Support and help lead a distributed compliance team, driving accountability, productivity, and strong communication across in-office and remote team members
- Execute end-to-end credentialing and re-credentialing processes, ensuring all clinician files are complete, current, and audit-ready
- Perform Primary Source Verification (PSV) for licenses, certifications, liability insurance, and related documentation in alignment with NCQA standards
- Support Joint Commission compliance efforts, including audit preparation, documentation, and continuous readiness initiatives
- Ensure accurate and timely state reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Maintain and continuously improve the credentialing database, ensuring data integrity and real-time accuracy
- Deliver clear, actionable reporting to leadership, including compliance metrics, trends, and process improvement opportunities
- Stay current on evolving federal, state, and industry regulations to proactively strengthen compliance practices
- Uphold strict adherence to HIPAA and confidentiality standards across all activities
- Partner with leadership to build a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement
- Assist in onboarding and training new team members, reinforcing best practices and consistency across the function
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of compliance and/or credentialing experience, ideally within healthcare staffing or a regulated healthcare environment
- Proven ability to support or lead workflows across both in-office and remote teams
- Strong working knowledge of NCQA standards, Joint Commission requirements, and credentialing best practices
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to operate with urgency
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated sound judgment and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
