Senior Director - Product/Solutions Marketing

Summary:

In this role, you will shape and execute the go-to-market vision for a portfolio of complex enterprise software solutions and advisory services. You will lead a team of product marketers to deliver differentiated positioning, enablement, and strategies that drive adoption, client value, and revenue growth. You will partner across the organization to translate market insights into compelling narratives, influence product direction, and align go-to-market execution with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive the end-to-end go-to-market strategy across product lines, ensuring alignment from market insight through execution, including segmentation, value proposition, packaging, and integrated campaign strategy.

  • Define and evolve the product marketing vision, establishing scalable frameworks that clearly articulate market opportunity, differentiation, and customer value.

  • Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing product marketing team, fostering strategic thinking, accountability, and alignment with broader business objectives.

  • Serve as the voice of the market, leveraging deep industry, customer, and competitive insights to influence product strategy, roadmap prioritization, and positioning.

  • Partner closely with executive stakeholders across sales, product, business unit, and marketing to drive alignment, prioritization, and measurable business impact.

  • Oversee the development of compelling/differentiated customer facing across the entire customer journey, and throughout the entire life of the product/solution offering from launch to sunset.

  • Design and scale sales enablement strategies that enhance commercial effectiveness, accelerate pipeline, and improve conversion outcomes.

  • Establish and operationalize performance metrics to evaluate product marketing impact, using data-driven insights to continuously refine strategy and investment decisions.

  • Contribute to enterprise-level strategic initiatives, including business planning, revenue forecasting, portfolio positioning, and M&A integration.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline preferred; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.

  • 10 or more years of relevant progressive experience in product marketing within complex, growth-oriented environments required.

  • Significant healthcare industry experience (minimum 5 years), with a strong understanding of market dynamics, stakeholder ecosystems, and regulatory considerations.

  • Active participation in premier product marketing organizations (e.g., Product Marketing Alliance (PMA)), with evidence of ongoing learning and contribution to the discipline is a plus.

  • Leadership experience, with a demonstrated track record of building, developing, and leading high-performing teams required.

  • Deep expertise in enterprise SaaS environments, with strong preference for experience in healthcare, data platforms, or AI-driven solutions.

  • Proven ability to shape and influence business strategy, product direction, and commercial outcomes through market insight and positioning.

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate, influence, and build alignment across senior leadership, including C-suite and board stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated success operating as a strategic partner across cross-functional teams, driving alignment and impact in highly collaborative environments.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and lead through change in fast-paced, growth-oriented organizations.

  • Willingness to travel as needed to support business priorities.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $206,000.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
