Field Engineer - Estimating, Charlotte, NC

This role is supporting several highway projects across the US. The Field Engineer will initially support the Estimating Team in the Charlotte, NC office and then transfer to a site.

Responsibilities:

• Handles both office and field responsibilities to meet the project requirements, including implementation of scheduled work and tracking data.
• Assists in the scheduling and planning of project activities.
• Prepares cost and time estimates to aid in meeting budget.
• Performs take-offs.
• Creates submittals.
• Assists with survey activities.
• Tracks job quantities and costs during project activities.
• Identifies conflicts between design plans and onsite conditions.
• Coordinates with third party utility providers to ensure all utilities are identified and located prior to work execution.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree
