Waukesha manufacturing company is seeking an experienced, Night Shift Plastic Extrusion Operator to join its team. This role requires prior experience with plastic extrusion equipment, strong mechanical ability, solid troubleshooting skills, close attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members. You will begin training on 1st shift, Monday-Thursday, from 5:00am to 5:30pm for approximately 2 to 3 months. After training is complete, you will move to your regular night shift schedule of Monday-Thursday, 5:00pm-5:30am. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong machine setup and operating experience who is looking for a stable position with long hours and consistent work. Pays $23-$25 possibly more base on experience includes benefits.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Gather and stage the correct raw materials and supplies needed for each production run
  • Set up tooling and make machine adjustments according to extrusion or expansion process requirements
  • Prepare, start, and operate extrusion and auxiliary equipment safely and efficiently
  • Run production lines to meet quality standards, product specifications, and output goals
  • Monitor production throughout the shift and make process adjustments as needed
  • Measure, inspect, and verify finished product to ensure it meets required specifications
  • Identify quality issues, equipment problems, or production variances and troubleshoot the root cause
  • Support a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following company procedures
  • Ability to operate a forklift
