Job Description:

Title: Senior Director, AI Application Delivery (Corporate AI)

Reports to: SVP, Chief Digital & AI Officer

Location: Norwalk, CT or Remote US

Position Summary:

The Senior Director, AI Application Delivery leads endtoend delivery of enterprise AI initiatives-from intake and prioritization through design, build, deployment, adoption, and value realization. You will run the Corporate AI delivery engine, orchestrating crossfunctional teams to implement agentic AI (AI agents, copilots, decision intelligence), machine learning, and automation across core manufacturing platforms (Oracle ERP & JDE, Salesforce CRM, Oracle CPQ, Oracle Field Service, and adjacent systems). Solutions must be secure, scalable, compliant, and measurable, delivering clear business outcomes in production.

The ideal candidate brings credible, handson delivery leadership, deep understanding of the AI lifecycle and LLMOps, and a track record of shipping value at scale in industrial/manufacturing enterprises.

Responsibilities:

Operate the AI Operating Framework (Corporate AI)

  • Chair the intake prioritization delivery flow across Discovery PODs; coordinate with the AI Executive Steering Committee on priorities, funding, and risk; embed AI Risk & Compliance Governance Council checkpoints; standup and coach AI Change & Adoption and CrossFunctional Deployment teams; and partner closely with Data Governance to ensure highvalue, wellgoverned data assets.

AI Program & Portfolio Delivery

  • Lead multiple AI delivery workstreams concurrently, managing scope, timeline, budget, dependencies, and risks.

  • Translate business objectives into delivery plans with milestones, exit criteria, and measurable outcomes (KPIs/OKRs).

  • Drive a prioritized AI portfolio and quarterly roadmaps; facilitate Executive Steering decisions and tradeoffs.

  • Maintain portfolio visibility with executive dashboards and concise status narratives.

AI Solution Delivery & Operationalization

  • Oversee delivery of data pipelines/features, model/LLM development & evaluation, and agentic AI use cases integrated with enterprise systems (Oracle ERP/JDE, Salesforce CRM, Oracle CPQ, Oracle Field Service, OneStream, ServiceNow, Workday).

  • Ensure solutions are productionready: reliability/SLOs, scalability, performance, cost efficiency, observability, incident response, evaluation & redteaming, and postproduction monitoring.

Architecture & Integration in a Manufacturing Stack

  • Guide technical design patterns for RAG, tooluse/functioncalling, workflow orchestration, eventdriven and APIfirst integrations; leverage platforms such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Boomi, Kafka/event streaming, API gateways, and the enterprise Lakehouse for AI/analytics.

  • Champion secure integration with foundational apps (Oracle/JDE, Salesforce, CPQ, OFS) and finance platforms (e.g., OneStream) to close the loop from prediction decision action.

Agentic AI, Copilots & Innovation

  • Design and deliver agentic AI solutions (multitool agents, retrieval, planning, code/execution tools, humanintheloop) using modern frameworks and platforms (e.g., Copilot Studio/Microsoft ecosystem, Azure OpenAI, LangChain/Semantic Kernel).

  • Establish patterns for prompt engineering, evaluation harnesses, offline/online A/B testing, safety policies, and LLMOps pipelines.

Responsible AI, Risk, and Compliance

  • Embed privacy, security, bias/fairness, transparency, and auditability by design; partner with Legal/Ethics, Cyber, and Data Governance to complete required reviews, model risk assessments, and documentation across the lifecycle. Aligns with the governance structures outlined in Corporate AI materials (Risk & Compliance Council; Executive Steering).

Value Realization & Adoption

  • Define success upfront (e.g., cycletime reduction, cost savings, quality improvements, customer/field service metrics).

  • Lead change management & enablement (role redesign, communications, training, incentives), and measure adoption and impact postlaunch to iterate ruthlessly.

People Leadership & Vendor Stewardship

  • Build and mentor a multidisciplinary team (product managers, delivery leads, data/ML/LLM engineers, platform and integration engineers, prompt engineers, designers, change leaders).

  • Manage a partner ecosystem (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, Salesforce, SI/ISV partners) with clear SOWs, SLAs, and value targets.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • 10+ years in technology delivery, program management, product delivery, or transformation roles.

  • 7+ years delivering AI/analytics/automation solutions in production environments.

  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams using Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid delivery methods.

  • Executivegrade communication; ability to simplify complex concepts and influence senior stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated delivery of agentic AI/coplanar copilots or LLMpowered applications at enterprise scale, with measurable outcomes.

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing enterprise platforms: Oracle ERP / JDE, Salesforce CRM, Oracle CPQ, Oracle Field Service, and finance/ops platforms (e.g., OneStream, ServiceNow, Workday); expertise integrating via OIC, Boomi, Kafka, APIs and data/AI Lakehouse patterns.

  • Mastery of delivery methods (Agile/Scrum/Kanban), SDLC, testing, release/change control, and vendor management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in global manufacturing/industrial environments with multiERP landscapes.

  • MLOps & LLMOps depth: evaluation frameworks, guardrails/safety, vector search/RAG, observability, cost governance.

  • Certifications: PMP/Prince2, Scrum Master/PO, SAFe, Azure AI/Architect, Oracle Cloud, Salesforce (or equivalents).
