An Advanced Composites Technician III must have a high level of technical expertise in composite materials, repair processes, structural fabrication, tooling, and inspection methods. They should be able to to interpret drawings and demonstrate knowledge of, and capability with, layup procedures, curing, bonding and finishing processes, while ensuring strict compliance with safety standards, OEM procedures and regulatory requirements. Employee should be able to effectively communicate, problem solve, and work as a team toward suspenses and common goals. The compensation range for this role is $27.71 - $32.33 per hour. Final compensation for this role will be determined by several factors including but not limited to: minimum and preferred qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience, and location. Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required. Basic computer skills. 3 years related composite experience. Ability to work with composite resins and materials. Requires ability to read and interpret blueprints. Must be able to use mathematical formulas to solve dimensional problems using fractions and decimals.
Position Purpose:
Under minimal supervision, perform one or more of the following composite part manufacturing functions: complex lay-up, cutting, bagging, autoclave, trimming, and/or complex repairs, in a production environment.
