Job Description

The Associate Administrator reports to the Manager of Salesforce Administration. The primary focus of this position is to administer the systems environment ensuring users have access and training. The position will also assist in maintaining the customization portion of salesforce.com. An associate will have an understanding of basic Salesforce standardize tasks and will apply them in under close supervision of management.

Job Duties

Supports and maintains the productivity experience (messaging & collaboration technologies) solution anchored but not limited to the Microsoft 365 and Google G Suite platforms.
Supports Active Directory users, groups, and attributes.
Creates and updates simple rules for Dynamic Distribution Lists in Exchange and Dynamic Security Groups in Entra ID.
Partners with Product teams to identify platform capability and functional business requirements.
Partners with Infrastructure and Operations peers to develop short and long-term roadmaps.
Contributes to technical discussions with stakeholders that drive decisions and implementation plans.
Contributes to the engineering area with effective agile delivery processes and service metrics.
Participates in vendor relationship management across Collaborative Platform products.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
KSAs

  • Ability to multitask effectively under a deadline
  • Broad knowledge of other Microsoft systems infrastructure products, such as Active Directory, Entra ID, Exchange, Azure, and Windows Server
  • Basic PowerShell scripting and development skills
  • Knowledge and experience with ServiceNow
  • Proficient experience with modern authentication remediation with inclusion of multiple modern browsers, Microsoft 365, client profile migration, and mailbox migration
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to provide user guidance, documentation, and consultation
  • Good knowledge of authentication mechanisms
  • Expertise with coordinating customer support (Tier-1 or Tier-2) personnel with M365-related incidents and tasks
  • Expertise in coordination and escalation of Microsoft support and ability to coordinate with first- and third-party software vendors, as needed, for resolution of business-impacting problems.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions in English

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience with mid-level (Tier-2 or 3) administration and engineering in an enterprise IT environment, having performed operational and break/fix activity
  • Experience contributing to information system design, governance, process, and procedure documentation
  • Git version control experience
  • Some experience with the design and implementation of IT projects and major efforts, including documentation, communication, and coordination of all components
  • Participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation
  • Equivalent relevant experience performing the essential functions of this job may substitute for the education degree requirements. Generally, equivalent relevant experience is defined as 1 year of experience for 1 year of education, and is at the discretion of the hiring manager.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certified Professional
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange, including 2016 and Online versions
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Online, with expertise in implementing and supporting OneDrive for Business
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams for Business Online administration
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platforms, including Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Assistant
  • Experience with web-based Microsoft Office Online applications, including Word Online, Excel Online, PowerPoint Online, and OneNote Online
  • Experience with Active Directory Federation Services and Entra ID Connect
  • Understanding of legacy authentication technologies

Position & Application Details
