The Feta Laborer I position is responsible for completing a variety of packaging and CIP duties to assist with the safe and efficient operation of the feta department. This position is primarily a seasonal position.

The role

We're looking for a Feta Laborer I to join our team in Weyauwega.

This is a hands-on role where you'll support the production of feta cheese, helping keep things running smoothly, safely, and efficiently from start to finish. If you like staying active, working with a team, and seeing the results of your work at the end of the day, you'll feel right at home here.

Your role in achieving results

In this position, you'll play a key part in keeping production moving and quality standards high. You'll:

  • Support daily production operations on the feta line

  • Handle materials, products, and equipment throughout the process

  • Follow safety, quality, and food production guidelines

  • Assist with cleaning and sanitation to maintain a safe, organized workspace

  • Communicate with team members and leadership to keep operations running smoothly

  • Jump in where needed-this is a team environment, and flexibility is key

Your work directly impacts production goals, product quality, and the success of the entire operation.

Education Required:

  • Ability to read, understand, and adhere to documents and procedures (GLP, SOP, SDS, GMP, test procedures, and HACCP).

  • Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work.

  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

  • Basic computer operational skills; able to input and retrieve computerized information.

  • Ability to follow written, verbal and diagrammatic instructions; complete simple checklists and complete required documentation.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Decisions administered soundly and consistently with policies and in compliance with appropriate laws and regulations.
