Description

Markon is seeking a ServiceNow (SNOW) Tester to support the IC Customer. The selected candidate will play a key role in testing and validating SNOW applications, workflows, and solutions to ensure seamless functionality and mission-critical performance.



Responsibilities

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Primary Responsibilities:

    Conduct comprehensive testing of SNOW applications and workflows to identify, document, and escalate bugs and issues across all SNOW modules and functionalities.
  • Develop and execute automated testing scripts for SNOW platforms, ensuring consistent performance and minimizing manual testing cycles.
  • Validate SNOW design and development solutions, ensuring workflows adhere to specified requirements and align with organizational best practices.

Process Improvement & Quality Assurance:

  • Define and refine testing procedures, approaches, and best practices to optimize testing processes and improve reliability and functionality of workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to confirm issue resolution and retest systems to ensure fixes are implemented effectively.
  • Track and report test results, providing metrics and insights directly to leadership to guide improvements and upgrades to the SNOW platform.

Collaboration Across Teams:

  • Work closely with contractors on multiple contracts and across teams to ensure seamless testing integration for interconnected systems and workflows.
  • Participate in technical exchange meetings, reviews, and design workshops to ensure testing aligns with program objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Build relationships with cross-functional teams, administrators, and leadership to ensure transparency, communication, and efficient testing processes.


Qualifications

Required:

  • An Active TS/SCI with a CI Polygraph is required to be considered.
  • 13+ years of professional experience, with demonstrated expertise in testing SNOW applications and workflows.
  • Strong experience with automated testing tools and methodologies, particularly for SNOW platforms.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with attention to detail when identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects.

Interpersonal & Teamwork Skills:

  • Ability to collaborate across contracting teams, fostering cohesion while contributing to the success of parallel initiatives.
  • Adept at explaining complex testing procedures and results to non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
  • A proactive communicator who can anticipate challenges and navigate dynamic workflows across multiple teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Intelligence Community (IC) environments, including workflows and mission-critical IT systems.
  • Strong understanding of SNOW modules and capabilities, including workflow automation and integration best practices.
  • Experience using testing management tools such as Automated Test Framework, or other tools suited to automated SNOW application testing.
  • Relevant certifications in SNOW or testing-related areas, such as Certified Application Specialist (SNOW) or ISTQB Foundation Level Certification in Software Testing.


Salary Range

USD $180,000.00 - USD $200,000.00 /Yr.

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
