Location: Mt. Sterling, IL

Department: Accounts Receivable

Reports To: Accounts Receivable Supervisor

Wage Range: $15.92 - $21.54 per hour, plus bonus opportunity

As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for processing customer payments and applying them to their respective invoices. Additionally, you may assist with various billing activities.

WHAT YOU'LL DO



  • Creates, posts, and adjusts deposits to customer accounts
  • Indexing all back up that is related to customer deductions
  • Reviews and research invoice discrepancies
  • Applies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.


YOU MUST HAVE



  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs (Such as Excel, Work, and Outlook)
  • General knowledge of accounting practices


YOU MAY ALSO HAVE



  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Previous work in accounts receivable
  • Strong math skills
  • Knowledge of general office equipment (Such as fax and copy machines)


ROLE SPECIFICS



  • Schedule: Monday - Friday. 8:00am - 5:00pm
