Job Description

The Commercialization team plays a critical role in growing the Visa Direct business in North America. The team is comprised of payments experts with strong analytical capabilities who develop and support the execution of strategic plans to accelerate Visa Direct adoption across money movement rails, use cases, and verticals. The team partners closely with solutioning and sales teams to quantify opportunities and articulate compelling, data driven value propositions for priority client segments.

As a GTM Analyst, you will support Visa Direct's most strategic bank and financial institution relationships across North America by developing data driven go to market strategies, creating sales tools and client facing materials, and supporting high impact client pitches. You will synthesize market and client insights, analyze complex datasets, and collaborate cross functionally to unlock new opportunities, accelerate commercialization, and enhance the client experience. You will be instrumental in ensuring Visa Direct capabilities are clearly articulated and effectively adopted across priority segments.

Responsibilities:

GTM Strategy & Execution Support:

  • Translate priority use cases into clear product stories and materials tailored to buyer needs, including, but not limited to, pitch decks, ROI models, talking points, and product one-pagers.

  • Support development and execution of NA GTM strategies by conducting market research and competitive analysis.

  • Support sales enablement motions and cross-functional execution to help drive qualified opportunities and progress deals from early-stage interest.

  • Develop a working understanding of Visa Direct money movement products and services across rails, use cases, and verticals

Sales Excellence & Enablement:

  • Learn key client business needs and objectives, tailoring presentations, pitches, and supporting analyses accordingly.

  • Partner with internal teams to create clear, persuasive client narratives.

  • Document and disseminate best practices, templates, and playbooks to help business development and account teams execute consistent client engagement motions.

  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of client engagement strategies (e.g., pipeline progression, conversion, and adoption), and recommend improvements.

Market Activation & Thought Leadership:

  • Support global and regional marketing teams with client-ready materials and activations (e.g., use-case messaging, proof points, and FAQs), ensuring Visa Direct is accurately and effectively represented for bank/FI audiences.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to shape, polish, and ship high-quality client experiences and business development assets.

  • Incorporate feedback and performance insights to continuously improve content.

  • Maintain and regularly update materials in the centralized content hub.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications:

3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)3+ years of experience in payments, fintech, financial services, consulting, or commercial strategy roles.

Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Experience building structured analyses and executive-ready materials (e.g., Excel models and PowerPoint storylines).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable working with data to generate actionable insights.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.

Familiarity with bank/FI buyer needs and decision dynamics across Payments, Treasury, Digital, Risk/Compliance, and Product organizations.

Experience with GTM fundamentals: segmentation, positioning, sales enablement, pipeline metrics, and launch readiness.

Strong narrative building and storytelling skills to communicate value propositions for clients and internal stakeholders.

Experience with analytical tools (e.g., SQL and/or Tableau/Power BI) and comfort working with large datasets (nice to have).

Strong project management and organization; ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders in a matrixed environment.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 123,000.00 to 190,900.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
