Overview
Digital Project Manager, Web & Technology About the role We are looking for an experienced Digital Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of complex web and technology initiatives within a large, matrixed enterprise organization. In this highly cross-functional role, you will own the full project lifecycle - from scoping and planning through launch and iteration - while managing the relationships, dependencies, and risks that come with operating at scale. You bring a genuine understanding of how modern websites are built: CMS platforms, back-end integrations, testing protocols, and the vendor ecosystems that support them. You are equally comfortable facilitating an Agile sprint ceremony and presenting status updates to senior business stakeholders. What you'll do
- Define and manage project scope, goals, milestones, and resource requirements from concept through launch across web and technology workstreams
- Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives; drive incremental delivery using Agile methodologies while applying Waterfall governance where required by the organization
- Partner with technology, product, and business teams to prioritize and scope complex, multi-faceted digital projects across a large enterprise environment
- Manage external vendor and development partner relationships day-to-day, holding teams accountable to scope, quality, and timelines
- Coordinate QA, SIT, and UAT testing phases, ensuring issues are identified, tracked, and resolved efficiently before go-live
- Maintain clear visibility into project health, cross-team dependencies, and risk mitigation plans for senior stakeholders across the business
- Align digital delivery practices with broader IT and business strategy, identifying opportunities for process improvement and team capability building
What you'll bring
- 4-7 years of experience managing digital or website delivery projects, ideally within or alongside a large enterprise organization
- Solid working knowledge of CMS platforms and website back-end architecture - you understand the tech well enough to have credible conversations with development teams
- Proven track record managing external vendors and agency partners, maintaining accountability on both sides of the relationship
- Fluency in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) methodologies with practical experience adapting to hybrid or Waterfall environments when needed
- Direct experience coordinating formal testing phases: QA, SIT, BUAT/UAT
- Strong stakeholder management skills - you can translate technical complexity for business audiences and business priorities for technical teams
- Comfort managing ambiguity and competing priorities across multiple active workstreams
Nice to have
- Experience with enterprise CMS platforms such as AEM, Sitecore, Contentful, or Drupal
- PMP, CSM, or equivalent project management certification
- Background navigating large, matrixed IT or digital organizations
- Prior experience working with or within a digital agency
