Job Title: SAP EWM/MM Consultant Job Location: Pleasantville, NY (Hybrid || 4 Days Onsite and 1 Day Remote) Job Duration: Fulltime
A client of ours is looking for a highly motivated and technically strong SAP EWM/MM Consultant to support warehouse operations, system enhancements, and ongoing projects. This role requires a hands-on professional who is comfortable working directly on the warehouse floor and partnering closely with business users. The ideal candidate will bring a balanced functional and technical skill set, along with the ability to translate operational warehouse needs into effective SAP solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary regional owner for SAP EWM processes and related initiatives
- Partner with IT to test, implement, and deploy system updates and enhancements
- Act as the main point of contact for warehouse super-users, providing hands-on support, troubleshooting, and training
- Work closely with warehouse teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Monitor and optimize warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, and inventory processes
- Support and maintain warehouse-related hardware and integrations (e.g., printers, automation systems, conveyors, Kardex, etc.)
- Troubleshoot system issues, including IDocs, RFCs, and integration points, to minimize operational disruption
- Configure and support SAP outputs, labels, and forms (Adobe Lifecycle, PPFs, etc.)
- Support embedded shipping solutions and third-party integrations
- Maintain SAP material master data relevant to EWM/MM
- Collaborate with global teams and external vendors on process improvements and system enhancements
- Develop documentation, SOPs, and lead knowledge-sharing sessions to drive user adoption
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with SAP WM/EWM (S/4HANA or ECC)
- Experience with at least 2 end-to-end SAP implementations
- Strong understanding of EWM configuration and warehouse execution processes
- Proven experience working on-site in a warehouse environment and engaging directly with operations teams
- Ability to operate independently and take ownership of systems and processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP MM and broader supply chain (SCM) processes
- Exposure to decentralized EWM environments
- Experience with third-party shipping tools (e.g., ShipERP, Paccurate, or similar)
- Knowledge of integration tools (e.g., SAP Integration Suite, Seeberger)
- Background in retail, e-commerce, or high-volume logistics environments
- Experience working in global SAP environments
- Strong Excel/reporting skills
- Spanish language skills are a plus

- This role requires a candidate who is well-versed in warehouse operations and comfortable working cross-functionally
- Preference for individuals who can bridge the gap between technical teams and warehouse users
- Local, onsite presence is important due to the hands-on nature of the role
