As this is a hybrid role, working out of our Creative Studios in Westlake, Ohio, we will focus on candidate who currently reside in Northeast Ohio.
The Sr. Strategic Sourcing Analyst is responsible for supporting product development teams in the actualization of Core Greeting Cards and Creative Product. This role is a part of a career path of increasing management responsibility and project assignment as it leads the use of robust communication and influencing skills to effectively collaborate with design teams and global supply chain (Global Sourcing), from concepting through production. The key to success in this role is the ability to advocate for innovative content within the boundaries of perceived value, manufacturability and cost of goods. A strong drive to push for results and the ability to pivot based on new information are critical. Creative thinking, problem-solving and diplomacy skills are equally essential. The Sr. Strategic Sourcing Analyst will balance multiple concepts and projects at any given time, which will require a high degree of organizational and time management skills. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Drives the development and realization of designated card component and attachments. * Advocates for design intent and retail objectives as a conduit between Business Unit and Global Sourcing. * Objectively balances creative intent and quality standards with manufacturability. * Submits pre-sourcing requests for purchased components (attachments) and other greeting card and/or celebrations materials to Global Sourcing to secure highest quality materials at the lowest possible cost * Is responsible for driving cross-functional projects aimed at product cost quoting process with international supply chain, manufacturability and cost of goods challenges. * Analyzes and manages cost of goods estimates at the design-level * Effectively communicates and collaborates with creative teams to meet or exceed price-value deliverables and profitability goals. * Takes ownership of and completes administrative assignments, including submissions of requests and compiling of documentation when needed * Leads regular team meetings and occasional after-hours conference calls * Lead Sourcing Analysts | |
