Project Manager / Field Supervisor (Commercial Construction)

Salary: $80,000

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Project Manager / Field Supervisor to lead large-scale commercial window and storefront installation projects (2,000+ units). This role manages field operations from planning through final quality verification, serving as the key link between the GC superintendent, installation crews, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Planning

• Schedule and coordinate installation activities with GC project superintendents
• Confirm delivery logistics, site contacts, scope, and job requirements
• Plan installation sequencing based on materials, labor, and site readiness
• Receive and organize materials for efficient installation flow

Field Supervision & Quality Control

• Lead installation crews and ensure high-quality workmanship
• Monitor daily progress to keep projects on schedule and within scope
• Troubleshoot field issues and escalate when needed
• Ensure proper handling, staging, and protection of materials

Methods, Compliance & Testing

• Coordinate mock-ups and installation standards with project teams
• Ensure compliance with waterproofing, flashing, and taping requirements
• Verify all work meets manufacturer specifications and project standards
• Coordinate and support water testing with GC and manufacturers

Communication & Reporting

• Provide regular updates on project status, progress, and risks
• Document field conditions, deviations, and completed work
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery

Qualifications

• Experience managing large commercial construction projects (no residential)
• Background in window, storefront, or building envelope installation preferred
• Strong understanding of waterproofing, flashing, and installation methods
• Proven ability to manage schedules, crews, and materials simultaneously
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
