Here's what we're looking for.

• 3+ years of experience estimating plumbing systems for commercial construction projects.
• Experience working with design-build projects and integrated project delivery methods preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, applicable codes, and construction practices.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scope documents.
• Experience with CAD and Revit is a plus.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills to work effectively with clients, vendors, and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Review project drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop accurate plumbing cost estimates.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs and calculate labor, material, and equipment requirements for plumbing systems.
• Review, analyze, and compare pricing from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure complete and competitive bids.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with vendors and subcontractors to secure favorable material and labor pricing.
• Interpret construction documents to clearly define the scope of work and identify potential conflicts or constructability concerns.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure estimates align with project scope, schedules, and budget expectations.
• Apply current local and national plumbing codes and regulations to ensure all estimates are compliant.
• Attend pre-construction meetings and conduct site visits as needed to evaluate site conditions and gather necessary project data.
• Prepare thorough, well-documented, and timely plumbing estimates covering labor, materials, and equipment.
