We have an opening for an experienced and professional individual to serve as our Data Analyst. This role will be responsible for enabling data-driven decision making by transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Visualize data and insights to simplify understanding, convey information, and uncover insights about projects and the overall business.
- Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for executives and cross-functional teams
- Partner with stakeholders to define KPI's, metrics, and reporting standards.
- Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, views, and data models to support analytics and reporting.
- Support the development and automation of ETL processes, integrating data from multiple sources for near real-time insights.
- Drive the creation of best practices regarding data reliability, quality, and efficiency.
- Support Senior Leadership and key stakeholders with data analysis and ad-hoc requests.
- Ensure data is accurate and timely.
- Participate in the Hourigan Safety and Health Management System (SHMS) by committing to safe work practices, raising concerns, attending, and applying safety and health training, and eliminating hazards within your capability and control and the help of safety staff.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience building databases, developing trackable KPI's, and working cross-functionally with key stakeholders
- 1+ years of experience developing reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI, including strong proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query (M language)
- Ability to quickly learn proprietary software to Hourigan such as CMIC, Procore, Compass, SmartPM, and other enterprise platforms
- Demonstrated proficiency with relational databases, SQL, and a programming language
- Demonstrated experience working with ETL tools and integration platforms
- Certification in Azure Data Engineer Associate & Power BI Data Analyst Associate, a plus
