The Global Operations Group brings information systems, facilities, supply chain, logistics, and high-volume manufacturing together to drive the engine of our global business operations. • Manage daily operations, team performance, and career development.
• Oversee multiple warehouse department operations across Livermore, CA.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, SOX, ISO, and quality standards.
• Attend daily and weekly status meetings for your department and provide real-time updates.
• Act as the primary escalation point for your department, resolving complex operational issues promptly.
• Lead cross-functional projects to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance quality.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve service levels.
• Support system implementations and logistics process improvements.
• Monitor and report on key metrics, including inventory, in-transit goods, and warehouse quality.
• Conduct root cause analysis for quality escapes using structured problem-solving.
• Respond to changes in manufacturing build plans with proactive logistics support.

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required (6+ years of related individual contributor experience).
• Minimum of four years of experience supervising logistics or warehouse operations.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); SAP experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to analyze technical documents (drawings, schematics, designs).
• Experience with inventory control, reporting, and process management.
• Ability to manage multiple processes and projects.
• Professionalism, a problem-solving mindset, and a drive for continuous improvement.
• Capable of lifting at least 35lbs without assistance utilizing proper ergonomic lifting methods

• Current warehouse SME experience a plus.
• SAP knowledge (ECC, S/4, EWM).
• Experience with structured problem-solving methods (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone).
• Familiarity with logistics systems and automation tools.
• Familiarity with automated storage and retrieval systems (VLM, AutoStore, AGV).

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
