PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Focusing on WiFI, GPS, Filter and Switch products across the Diversified RMI ( RF and Mixed-Signal Intelligence )Business Unit.



Member of the marketing team who works closely with sales, business units, and customers to help shape roadmaps, define new products, and develop/execute market strategy to drive revenue and margin growth.



Candidates must possess a strong mix of business and technical skills, with the ability to build relationships with peers in engineering, product management, sales, corporate marketing, and other cross-function groups. To be successful in this role, you must have a self-starter attitude, be able to develop relationships across organizations within Skyworks, influence decision makers, and help drive stakeholders to common goals.

Responsibilities

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting directly to the RMI BU Connectivity Product Line Director, this proven leader should have a broad skill set with the ability to set KPIs for, engage with, and motivate highly skilled talent across multiple sites and geographical regions to define deliverables, plan resources, improve process and achieve desired results. The individual should have a demonstrated history and technical acumen in the functions listed below.




  • Lead product marketing strategy for WiFi product line focusing on AP and Router applicatinos
  • Track market dynamics, technology trends, and drive a comprehensive product roadmap
  • Be the primary marketing interface to sales, customers and partners globally
  • Create and maintain product positioning in the focus market segment applications
  • Develop and track opportunities with sales, driving them to design wins
  • Define new product and business cases
  • Create collateral and training material for customer and sales
  • Own pricing strategy and negotiations with sales team
  • Drives design teams for continuous improvement and incorporation of lessons learned.
  • Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible factors.
  • Regularly interacts with executive and/or major customers. Interactions normally involve controversial situations, customer negotiations, or influencing and persuading other senior level managers.


Required Experience and Skills

Experience and Qualifications



  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, with 15+ years of product marketing - Timing products
  • Expertise in RF systems and components
  • Knowledge and understanding of 802.11 standards SOCs and manufacturing ecosystems
  • Exceptional communication, oral and written skills, including crisp, efficient, presentation techniques
  • Ability to maintain focus, composure and provide leadership under time pressure, dealing with demanding internal and external customers, and other sources of stress
  • Able and willing to travel across the multiple sites to communicate policy, provide quarterly business updates, future development plans and set strategic vision for BU product management and applications teams.

Desired Experience and Skills

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $170,100 - $339,500 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others.
