Power Hilti's SaaS Sales Engine

The role of Inside Sales Manager, SaaS, is responsible for leading a team of software Account Managers and Sales Development Representatives to support the successful acquisition of customers through Hilti's digital, internet, and pilot sales initiatives. This position works collaboratively with cross functional teams to provide outstanding experience and motivate a team of sales specialists to meet and exceed sales goals. This role is a key contributor to Hilti's North America (HNA) SaaS sales team. This role leads the inside team, partners with marketing and local account managers, and product management to deliver world-class applications to the market with a multi-channel approach.


What You'll do
  • Lead team of Software Account Managers, Sales Development Representatives, Customer Success Managers and SaaS Sales Engineers to consistently exceed all assigned company goals and objectives; including customer acquisition, product adoption, training, customer satisfaction and other metrics.
  • Develop and oversee the management for the inside sales team, ensuring KPI performance against targets.
  • Establish and continually improve sales processes, procedures, sales channel approach, and mix to drive optimal sales results.
  • Hold regular pipeline review meetings.
  • Develop sales scripts and messaging, making ongoing amendments as necessary.
  • Develop best practices for software selling as input into the global software sales competency center.
  • Research and identify target contacts and decision makers for prospecting activity.
  • Oversee the consistent inside sales staff training, coaching for performance, and provide support to create a passionate and motivated team of employees as well as manage performance.
  • Ensure that sales goals are thoughtfully developed and executed.
  • Collaborate with sales operations specialist to drive efficiencies through process improvement and marketing automation.
  • Assign responsibilities, provides direction, leadership, and coaching, remove barriers as needed to enable software account managers to execute their roles and achieve objectives and goals.
  • Work collaboratively with both field-based sales team and field engineers to provide an outstanding experience to key customers.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor Degree in related field of study or equivalent experience, required
  • Minimum six (6) years' experience required
  • Minimum six (6) years' sales experience, required
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience leading people and teams, required
  • SaaS experience, required
  • Previous experience working within an aggressive out-bound prospecting inside sales team
  • Familiar with agile software development and training for adoption of new versions
  • Relevant industry experience ideally from the construction industry segment
  • Strong systems, data analysis and CRM skills, ideally Salesforce.com
  • Excellent people management skills and an ability to drive sales results.
  • Strong background in customer relations
  • Experience with chat and inbound phone systems
  • Excellent analytical, time management and leadership skills
