TSC is seeking a Junior Collaboration Systems Administrator to maintain and enhance our internal communication platforms and content management systems. You will work closely with IT and other corporate teams as the primary administrator and expert for Microsoft SharePoint and Teams, ensuring effective collaboration, security, and document lifecycle management across the organization.

The ideal candidate would be located in the Huntsville, AL, Bloomington, IN or DC metro area with the ability to work on a hybrid basis.

Responsibilities:

  • SharePoint Online Management: Design and maintain SharePoint sites, manage access and security, and implement document management best practices.

  • Microsoft Teams Administration: Govern team creation, configure channels and apps, and support web meeting configuration and troubleshooting.

  • Support & Integration: Serve as the Tier 1 escalation point for collaboration-related tickets. Help integrate Teams and SharePoint workflows with other enterprise tools.

  • User Enablement: Provide training, support, and documentation to help staff maximize the value of collaboration tools.

  • Governance & Security: Work with cybersecurity teams to configure appropriate security measures to protect sensitive information. Monitor usage reports and support risk assessments.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field or equivalent work experience and 1-3 years of SharePoint and Teams administration in Microsoft 365

  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

  • Strong understanding of Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) as it relates to M365 groups and permissions

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a wide audience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with GCC High or other regulated M365 environments

  • Hands-on experience managing Zendesk or similar help desk systems.

  • Experience with Power Automate to create workflows between SharePoint, Teams, and external apps.

  • Experience with data migration tools such as Sharegate

  • Microsoft certification for Administrator Expert or similar
