  • Operational & Cost Engineering: Owns the economic strategy for AI production, utilizing quantization and knowledge distillation to ensure high-performance model delivery at an optimized cost-to-serve.

  • Hybrid Platform Stewardship: Oversees the integration and performance of AI workloads across diverse environments, ensuring parity and security between on-premise data centers and cloud providers.

  • Organizational AI Literacy: Acts as a strategic partner to business units, identifying high-impact opportunities for agentic automation and guiding the cultural transition toward AI-augmented workflows.

  • Talent & Culture Leadership: Establishes the technical standards, career pathing, and recruitment strategies to attract and retain world-class AI and Data Science talent.

  • Define and execute a resource allocation strategy that balances internal talent development with external infrastructure investments to maximize long-term ROI.

  • Shared responsibility for the Data Science budget (as part of the overall Engineering organization), with a focus on transforming the department from a cost center into a value-generating engine that impacts the company's bottom line.
