Title: Warehouse Worker Location: Tucson 85716 AZ ,US Duration: 3-4 Months Pay Rate: 18.15-20 /h on W2 without benefits . Shift: 6 30 am.to 3 pm, 2 - (15 minute breaks) and 1 - (30 minute lunch.) Mode of Interview: - Quick phone interview . Job Description: Warehousing experience would be preferred but is not required as non-city employees cannot operate equipment or vehicles in this capacity. The following will be the primary daily core duties: Housekeeping duties, such as sweeping, dusting, picking up garbage ( inside and outside ), emptying garbage and recycle containers, removing cobwebs, use of blowers and magnet rollers to pick up metal debris in driveways. Labeling, transferring and putting inventory stock away on shelving, bending, squatting and kneeling will be involved with weights up to 35 lbs. Assistance to forklift operator with moving bigger items on and off forks, inside and outside of the building. Customer service by helping with customers in person and answering phone calls. Organizing surplus furniture. Maintaining vehicle cleanliness such as: washing windows, wipe down seats and floors. Other duties as needed. Please ensure that all applicants are aware of the dress code: long pants are required (jeans or khaki or similar), boots are required, polo style or tee shirts are acceptable ( no political or vulgarity). Personal protective equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, hats will be provided and working outside in the heat intermittently will be necessary. Safety knowledge and a good attitude is preferred.
