About the role

As the Investment Tax Specialist, you will play a key role on the Corporate Tax team, focusing on investment tax compliance, accounting, planning, and research while supporting critical tax and investment processes across the organization.

What you will do



  • Perform investment tax liability and provision calculations and reporting
  • Manage federal income tax compliance for investments, including returns, K1s, accounting methods, and planning for new investments
  • Ensure effective tax controls and accurate, consistent investment tax analytics
  • Streamline and optimize investment tax data and reporting processes
  • Partner with Investment Accounting and crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality reporting
  • Identify and communicate investment tax planning opportunities to leadership
  • Conduct tax research and advise on domestic and international investment matters
  • Coordinate with external advisors and review alternative investment structures for tax considerations

Compensation

Salary Range: $128,700 - $214,600 plus eligibility for the company annual bonus program.

Who You Are:



  • You have a high school diploma (required), plus a BA/BS in a related field preferred.
  • 10-15 years of experience in investment tax, corporate tax, or a related area
  • Proven experience with investment tax liability, provision calculations, and reporting
  • Strong knowledge of federal income tax compliance for investments, including returns, K1s, and accounting methods
  • Ability to maintain effective tax controls and ensure accurate, consistent investment tax analytics
  • Experience optimizing investment tax data and reporting processes
  • Trusted partner to Investment Accounting and crossfunctional teams
  • Skilled in identifying and communicating investment tax planning opportunities to leadership
  • Experience conducting tax research on domestic and international investments and working with external advisors
