Legal Intern

About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Legal Intern to join our in-house Legal team. This internship is designed for undergraduate students (rising juniors or seniors) or current law students who are eager to gain meaningful, hands-on experience in a corporate in-house counsel environment. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, has strong interest in a legal career, good writing skills, and is interested in learning how legal support functions within a dynamic business setting. You will work closely with experienced attorneys on real business matters and receive direct exposure to corporate legal practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct basic to intermediate legal research on a variety of corporate, commercial, and regulatory topics
• Assist with drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, policies, and internal memoranda
• Support the preparation of materials for compliance initiatives
• Summarize case law, statutes, regulations, and legal opinions
• Help maintain and organize corporate records, contracts, and legal databases
• Participate in cross-functional meetings with business teams (e.g., Finance, Sales, HR, Operations)
• Provide general administrative and project support to the Legal department as needed
• Attend training sessions and shadowing opportunities with in-house counsel

Qualifications Required:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (rising junior or senior) or in a J.D. program
• High level of professionalism, maturity, and discretion
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

• Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) for the duration of the summer program
