UX Designer (Strong UX Focus) - Enterprise / Banking Location: Open to Charlotte Employment Type: W2 Contractor About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled UX Designer with strong endtoend UX capabilities and solid UI proficiency. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in enterprise environments, can operate with minimal oversight, and is comfortable partnering directly with business stakeholders. You will help support and expand our existing design system while also contributing to the creation of a new mobile design system. Top Skills & Experience Required Core UX Skills Candidates must demonstrate the ability to independently lead UX efforts across multiple projects. Strong expertise is required in: * User research * Conducting stakeholder and customer interviews * A/B testing * Prototyping * Interaction design Figma Expertise Proficiency in Figma is essential, including: * Creating and managing components * Operating within an established design system * Understanding and applying scalable interaction patterns Design System Responsibilities You will contribute to the enhancement and expansion of our design systems: * Maintain and evolve an existing enterprise design system * Support the buildout of a new mobile design system * Contribute to the goal of developing 40 new components over the next year * Configure and structure components in Figma suitable for multiple teams and platforms * Work across several initiatives simultaneously while ensuring consistency and quality UX/UI Balance While UI skills are important, we are specifically targeting designers who are UXheavy and comfortable: * Gathering and interpreting business requirements * Facilitating discussions with product owners and business partners * Translating complex problems into clear, usercentered solutions Industry & Experience Preferences * Enterprise experience is strongly preferred * Banking experience is ideal * Also open to: * Ecommerce * Healthcare * Note: Designers seeking highly creative, advertisingstyle work may find this role less aligned with their interests Portfolio Requirements Applicants must include a portfolio link demonstrating strong endtoend UX capabilities.
