Senior* Fire Alarm Technician* - Nashville, TN (Contract-to-Hire) About the Company A growing life safety and security integrator headquartered in Memphis, TN is now expanding into Nashville - its next strategic market. This expansion is backed by a significant multi-year contract beginning in July, covering fire alarm and security systems across major commercial accounts. Nashville will be the first market where the company fully supports fire alarm installation and service locally, and the team is being built now. The Opportunity This is a foundational role. As the first Senior Fire Alarm Technician in Nashville, you won't just be filling a seat - you'll be helping establish how the operation runs in this market. You'll work independently on large commercial projects across hospitals, government buildings, hotels, office buildings, and multi-use facilities throughout the Nashville area. As the team grows, there's a natural path for the right person to step into a lead role. This starts as a contract-to-hire position, with the intent to bring the right candidate on permanently. For someone who wants long-term stability, ownership of their work, and the chance to help build something from the ground up, this is worth a serious look. What You'll Be Doing * Installing and servicing commercial fire alarm systems across large-scale facilities * Working independently in the field with minimal supervision * Troubleshooting and resolving system issues efficiently * Bending and running EMT and rigid conduit for fire alarm systems * Ensuring all work meets NFPA 72 standards, local fire codes, and inspection requirements * Helping set the standard for quality and best practices as the Nashville operation grows What We're Looking For * 3+ years of hands-on commercial fire alarm installation and/or service experience * Strong working knowledge of NFPA 72, local fire codes, and inspection processes * Experience with common fire alarm devices - smokes, heats, pull stations, horn/strobes, panels, relays, and more * Ability to troubleshoot independently and manage your own work in the field * Comfortable working in occupied commercial environments * Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR check required) What's in It for You * Company vehicle provided * Full benefits package: medical, dental, vision, 401K * Vacation and holiday pay * Long-term stability backed by a multi-year contract * Ground-floor opportunity in a growing market with a clear path to a permanent role Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
