Machinist II – Machine Shop

KEITH Walking Floor Systems provide horizontal loading/unloading solutions for bulk materials,
pallets, bales and rolls. The company’s state-of-the-art production facility in Madras, Oregon
operates using Lean Manufacturing practices.

Current Shift: 4 – 10’s (M-Th 5: 00am-3: 30pm) Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities
Create a variety of production parts and prototype parts.
Read G codes and edit programs.
Operate specific machines during machine production; loading and unloading material or
parts from the machine; and making minor adjustments to the machine controls.
Use and read measuring tools.
Understand and follow technical drawings.
Perform machine maintenance and repair.
Responsible for checking completed parts to meet KEITH Quality Control Standards.
Other duties may be assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 18 years of age.
Minimum 1-year experience.
Proficient in reading G code.
Proficient in reading tape measure, level, square, calipers and precision measuring
tools.
Able to communicate in English with team members (Speak and reading, writing ability
required.)
Pass employer performance tests including pre-employment drug test.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in
the future.
Physical requirements include the ability to stand for 8 to 10 hours at a time. Lift 25 lbs.
repetitively and up to 60 lbs. Production facility exposed to continual machine noise.
Equipment / Machinery Used
Various machinery including CNC Mills, Lathes, Grinders and Forklift.
Calipers, bore gauges, micrometers and other precision measuring tools and hand tools.
