As a Security Officer Security Screener in Hagerstown, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, helping support security-related screening activities, monitor access points, and observe assigned areas. In this role, you will remain visible to help reduce incidents while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, vehicles, packages, and/or personal belongings entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client-specific screening protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and/or policy violations within the facility.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, remaining alert to unusual activity, operational disruptions, and/or conditions that may require a security-related response.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
