About Marvell

Marvell's semiconductor solutions are the essential building blocks of the data infrastructure that connects our world. Across enterprise, cloud and AI, and carrier architectures, our innovative technology is enabling new possibilities.

At Marvell, you can affect the arc of individual lives, lift the trajectory of entire industries, and fuel the transformative potential of tomorrow. For those looking to make their mark on purposeful and enduring innovation, above and beyond fleeting trends, Marvell is a place to thrive, learn, and lead.

Your Team, Your Impact

Marvell is seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and accomplished Director of Enterprise Security Architecture (ESA) to lead the development and evolution of Marvell's enterprise security strategy. This role is responsible not only for providing advisory services and ensuring the integration of security services, but for communicating risk clearly, building strong partnerships, and influencing direction across a complex, matrixed enterprise.

As the operational leader for ESA, this role serves as a primary integration point between technology teams, operations, solution engineering, and business stakeholders. Success in this role depends on the ability to translate technical and operational risk into business impact, align diverse stakeholders, and drive decisive action through influence rather than direct authority. The ESA organization plays a critical role in ensuring the security posture of Marvell's enterprise technology, offering an opportunity to work in a dynamic company with cutting-edge technologies in a global, collaborative environment.

What You Can Expect

Strategic Leadership, Communication, and Executive Presence

  • Coordinating with CSO peers and business leadership to define and articulate Marvell's Enterprise Security vision, strategy, and priorities in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Communicate security risk, trends, and recommendations to business and technology leadership.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations that enable informed risk and strategy decisions.
  • Establish trusted relationships with senior leaders across information technology, cybersecurity, engineering, product, legal, and operations.

  • Ensure appropriate security service maturity across enterprise security domains.
  • Drive alignment and accountability for security outcomes through partnership and influence.

Cross-Functional Partnership and Enablement

  • Partner closely with engineering, product management, quality, legal, supply chain, and operations teams.
  • Enable teams to integrate security-by-design practices through guidance, tooling, and shared accountability.
  • Act as a connector across organizations to resolve security issues that span multiple teams or functions.
  • Define the technical direction and support the evolution of the Enterprise Fusion Center

Key Metrics and Success Measures

  • Executive and stakeholder confidence in communication and decision support.
  • Consistent enterprise adoption of security-by-design practices and integration with enterprise security services.
  • Reduction in systemic and repeat enterprise security risks.
  • Maturity of enterprise security services
  • Alignment between business, functional, and technical requirements and the enterprise cyber tool stack.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information security, or related discipline; will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 12+ years of experience in enterprise security, including leadership of enterprise security architecture and/or engineering.
  • 5+ years in senior leadership roles requiring influence and collaboration across multiple business units or organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to highly technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong experience in threat and risk management, technical architecture pattern definition, and enterprise strategy development.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
  • Experience in semiconductor, hardware, embedded systems, or complex platform environments.
  • Familiarity with NIST, ISO, process modelling, and supply-chain security practices.
  • CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certifications.
  • Proven success operating in highly matrixed, cross-functional organizations.
