This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from one of our South Region Aon offices.

What the day will look like

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated expert to lead the Healthcare Industry Vertical for Health Solutions . As the leader of this vertical, you will play a vital role in driving the growth and success of this industry segment for the South region.

  • Lead and manage a team of healthcare industry Account Executives and consultants, providing guidance and support to drive their professional development and ensure their success in client engagements and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver industry-specific consulting services, including planning, process improvement, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and prospects in the industry, acting as a trusted advisor and proactively uncovering opportunities for further collaboration and engagement.
  • Deploy firm-wide research and analysis to identify trends, protocols and emerging issues in the industry; translate findings into actionable insights, recommendations, and go-to-market opportunities.
  • Lead and contribute to crafting and delivering thought leadership content. This includes whitepapers, articles, and presentations. The goal is to position our company as a leading authority in the field.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements that impact the industry, and anticipate their implications for our clients.
  • Collaborate with internal collaborators to develop and implement critical initiatives that improve our consulting offerings and drive business growth.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in Health and Welfare consulting, with a focus on the Healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record of success in leading and managing high-performing consulting teams, demonstrating the capacity to encourage and motivate others to achieve exceptional results.
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare employer trends, including its key collaborators, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and develop innovative solutions to address client needs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to drive revenue growth through strategic client relationship management, business development activities, and team management.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment, managing multiple priorities and competing demands effectively.

Education: Bachelor's degree in relevant discispline or equivalent years of industry experience.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $225,000 to $275,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
