About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword - it's a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Overview of the Role
As the Director of Product & Pricing Operations, you will lead the strategic engine that translates product innovation into scalable revenue. You aren't just managing SKUs; you are leading a high-performing team responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our global price books, product packaging, and operational readiness. You will serve as the critical bridge between Product Management, Finance, and Sales, ensuring our go-to-market (GTM) strategy is backed by rigorous capacity planning and seamless release execution.
Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Team Management
  • People Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of Product and Pricing Operations professionals, fostering a culture of precision and continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Roadmap: Align the Product Ops roadmap with corporate goals, ensuring the team is focused on high-impact initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Influence: Act as a key advisor to executive stakeholders in Finance, IT, Legal, and Product to gain consensus on complex business requirements.
2. Release & Capacity Planning
  • Release Governance: Own the "Operational Readiness" checklist for all Product Line launches, ensuring quoting, invoicing, and provisioning systems are 100% prepared for Day 1.
  • Capacity Management: Partner with Product and Business leadership to analyze resource capacity versus roadmap demands, identifying bottlenecks and optimizing delivery velocity.
  • Lifecycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end implementation and testing of new product configurations, ensuring compliance with global financial controls.
3. Pricing Architecture & Execution
  • SKU & Price Book Strategy: Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of complex pricing models, discounting frameworks, and product bundling strategies within Salesforce systems.
  • Systems Optimization: Drive the evolution of our CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) and billing ecosystems to support increasingly complex business models.
  • Global Governance: Establish standards for price book management to ensure data integrity across various regions and currencies.
4. Process Transformation
  • Operational Excellence: Identify and lead large-scale process improvements to reduce friction in the "Lead-to-Cash" cycle.
  • Risk Mitigation: Manage project-level risks, tracking system requirements and technical dependencies to prevent launch delays.
  • AI & Automation Strategy: Leverage predictive analytics and AI-driven workflows to automate routine SKU management and enhance the precision of global pricing models.
Required Qualifications
  • Leadership: 10+ years of experience in Product Operations, Revenue Operations, or Business Consulting, with at least 3+ years in a people-management capacity.
  • Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem (Admin or CPQ certification is highly preferred) and price book architecture.
  • Strategic Planning: Proven track record in Release Management and Capacity Planning within a SaaS or high-growth tech environment.
  • Analytical Power: Advanced data modeling skills (Excel, Tableau, or SQL) with the ability to translate data into executive-level recommendations.
  • Project Rigor: Mastery of project management methodologies (Agile, PMP, or Six Sigma) to handle multi-quarter, cross-departmental initiatives.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent graduate degree preferred. *LI-Y
