Seasonal Operator-3pm & 11pm Shift

GENERAL PURPOSE

Perform duties specific to seasonal assignment.



JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Operate various equipment throughout plant including cheese manufacturing and packaging equipment

    * Ensure all equipment is operating properly.

    * Perform cleaning of equipment and document results as necessary

    * Monitor the quality of product and report any issues to Leadperson, QC Department and/or Supervisory staff promptly

    * Follow DFA's GMP's and work in a manner consistent with corporate and regulatory quality and sanitation requirements

    * Maintain a clean work environment and perform clean-up duties between shifts as required

    * Perform all work safely according to company policy, reporting an unsafe condition immediately.

    * Responsible for monitoring and taking corrective actions when necessary for a critical control point as part of the plant HACCP plan.

    * Ensure all documentation is done correctly and turned in promptly.

    * Perform any other duties as required to meet production demands.

  • 3pm &11pm Rotating Shift


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent, some college coursework, or undergraduate degree depending upon the internship or intern assignment
  • Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment
