**This position requires being in office one day per week (Tuesday) and additional days as needed depending on project schedules. Additionally, you must be available to photograph components/vehicles at the client's garage in Auburn Hills**

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative individual to design and develop engaging learning experiences. You'll join a collaborative team committed to pushing the boundaries of technical training, working with cutting-edge advanced vehicle technologies. **Your Impact**

As a key member of our training team, you will be instrumental in creating high-quality, impactful learning content. You will:

* **Lead End-to-End Training Development:**

* Build comprehensive technical training across various formats, including instructor-led courses, interactive eLearning modules, microlearning, quick reference guides, job aids, and digital courses.

* Conduct in-depth interviews with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather and synthesize complex technical content.

* Capture essential visual references and images on-site as needed to enhance training materials.

* **Drive Instructional Design & Media Development:**

* Create detailed storyboards and compelling video scripts.

* Design and integrate engaging training elements using graphics, audio, video, and advanced interactivity.

* Develop sophisticated learning interactions such as simulations, drag-and-drops, and layered graphics.

* Incorporate professional voiceovers, seamless transitions, and diverse multimedia assets.

* **Ensure Quality, Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:**

* Collaborate closely with SMEs, commodity managers, and fellow authors.

* Incorporate feedback effectively and manage iterative script revisions.

* Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and implement continuous improvements.

* Stay current with emerging training technologies, tools, and design methodologies.

* Support team initiatives, including Train-the-Trainer programs and curriculum updates.

**What You'll Bring**

We are looking for candidates who demonstrate a strong foundation in either instructional design or automotive technical expertise, combined with a passion for learning and development.

**Required Skills:**

* **Instructional Design & eLearning Expertise:**

* Proficiency in industry-standard eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Rise 360.

* A strong portfolio showcasing complex, interactive eLearning work, including advanced interactions like drag-and-drops, triggers, pseudo-simulations, and layered graphics.

* Proven ability to interview Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and meticulously document information.

* Exceptional writing skills and a deep understanding of training objectives.

* **Technical Aptitude:**

* Solid automotive or mechanical foundation, gained through education or work experience.

* Demonstrated technical aptitude, including comfort with tools, complex vehicle systems, and diagnostics.

* Ability to learn new software tools quickly.

* General technical aptitude, including basic tool familiarity.

* **Communication & Collaboration:**

* Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both in writing and verbally.

* Comfortable receiving and implementing constructive feedback.

* Proven ability to handle SME interviews effectively and speak professionally.

* Stable work history.

**Preferred Skills:**

* Experience developing technical or technical-adjacent training.

* Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).

* Experience with presentation software (e.g., Microsoft Office / PowerPoint).

**Soft Skills:**

* Strong communicator with an outgoing, confident personality.

* Able to respectfully challenge SMEs and ask insightful questions.

* Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
