Air Dimensions Inc (ADI), a subsidiary of Ingersoll-Rand, Inc since 2021. is seeking a motivated and detailed oriented Inside Technical Sales Representative for our Deerfield Beach, FL office. For more than 40 years, ADI has designed and manufactured specialized oil-free, contamination-free, and leak-free diaphragm gas pumps and compressors for industries like petrochemical, environmental, and power generation with high-precision, durable sampling pumps for hazardous and safe areas.

Job Overview:

The Inside Technical Sales Specialist is an integral part of a dynamic and a highly communicative cross-functional team environment working together to build a premier customer experience and drive high single digit to low double digit year over year profitable growth. This position involves detailed interaction with internal and external customers working closely with the engineering, operations and global commercial teams and provides technical expertise and support to customers and commercial teams, ensuring successful product selection, troubleshooting and post-sale satisfaction. This role blends deep technical knowledge, especially in pumps and motors, with strong sales support and customer service skills.

High level responsibilities will include performing initial lead follow up, answering initial technical questions from our global sales channels, manage customer supply portals, provide quote support, provide RMA support and communications, support service kits and standard inquiries. It involves communicating clearly with all internal departments and customers outside the company daily.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage initial lead and inquires into ADI through Salesforce, provide initial disposition within 24 hours of receipt following our Demand Generation/Marketing processes.

  • Coordinate customer portals, ensuring accurate data entry, document uploads, and compliance with customer requirements.

  • Provide initial technical support and troubleshooting product issues and service kit support for NA and ROW sales organizations, support ADI annual growth targets.

  • Communicate with customers via email, Sales Force or telephone regarding open orders, technical information, and support in understanding the product.

  • Provides quote support as needed to the quoting process. Responsible for quoting for customers emailing in with standard parts to quotes@airdimensions.com (typically 10+ daily)

  • Return material authorizations (RMA) support and communication with customer, liaison with ADI Quality.

  • Work with the Engineering, Operations, Quality, Product Management, Inside and Outside sales and other pertinent departments to ensure excellent communication.

  • Work to always provide a premier customer experience and meeting ADI's market expectations with quick response and turn around on products and information.

  • Complete special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

  • Participate in cross-functional meetings as needed

  • Participate in continuous improvement activities

  • Must be capable of occasional travel to customers, trade shows, or other company meetings.



Requirements:


  • High school diploma or GED.

  • 3+ years experience in inside sales in a manufacturing environment with ability to analyze and understand mechanical information.

  • Mechanical aptitude and a knowledge of our products.

  • 1+ years of quoting experience.

  • 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to interface with staff at many levels in corresponding departments i.e. Operations, Engineering, Shipping, Sales, etc.

  • Ability to provide First Class Customer Service & Support by e-mail and phone.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in an efficient and professional manner, have strong prioritization and time management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage internal and external contacts in a positive, assertive, and effective manner.

  • Able to interact and coordinate with internal company resources and vendor resources to resolve issues for customers and distributors.

  • Robust analytical skills to aid in assessing customer needs coupled with the ability to solve problems will enhance the incumbent's performance.

  • Ability to maintain up to date technical knowledge of products, application and industry trends.



Preferences:


  • Associates or higher degree in Business Administration or related.

  • Prior experience with pumps and motors.

  • Experience using Salesforce.

  • Experience using any CRM software.



Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:


  • Onsite in Deerfield Beach, FL.
