Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors Training Coordinator The Training Coordinator is responsible for executing plant-wide training programs, overseeing implementation, and assessing outcomes to ensure employees are effectively trained and developed. This role identifies training and development needs, builds and maintains curriculum materials, and assessments for production teams, and supports onboarding for new hires and supervisors. The Training Coordinator works across Value Streams to improve operational capability, performance, and consistency. What You'll Be Doing
- Execute and oversee organizational training programs for the plant
- Identify training and development needs and drive initiatives that improve employee skills, productivity, and quality of work
- Develop curriculum, training materials, and assessments for production teams
- Create and maintain onboarding and training programs for new hires and new supervisors
- Work across multiple Value Streams to ensure employees are trained in both their specific areas and broader plant needs
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment by ensuring employees are trained on company and regulatory safety requirements
- Partner with key stakeholders to oversee the quality and effectiveness of employee operational skills training
- Manage and track all plant training activities and milestones
- Work with Value Stream Managers to keep SOPs updated and regularly reviewed
- Co-own onboarding of new hourly employees with production supervisors and support continued employee development
- Support onboarding of new supervisors
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness and report results to the leadership team
- Tailor training programs as needed and facilitate training delivery
- Manage the plant-wide job qualification matrix and identify cross-training gaps
- Gather feedback from employees and managers to identify weaknesses and additional training needs
- Establish refresher training thresholds and maintain a system to track and communicate retraining needs
- Track employee training through systems such as Augmentir, Microsoft Teams, and Power BI
- Develop and sustain SOPs through systems such as Augmentir
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and related methods
- Support equipment optimization and troubleshooting through training and operational support

- Knowledge of OSHA-related topics such as:
- Confined Spaces
- Electrical Safety
- Energy Isolation
- Machine Safeguarding
- Experience with incident investigation and structured problem-solving tools such as RCFA or 5 Why
- Ability to build and sustain training systems that support cross-training, qualification tracking, and refresher training compliance
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 5+ years of production operations experience, including 1-2 years in a hands-on training role
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment
- Understanding of production processes and methodologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of learning principles, instructional design, education methods, and e-learning platforms
- Knowledge of learning management systems and instructional tools
- Strong organization, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and analyze data effectively
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and execute work aligned to business objectives
- Knowledge, understanding, and implementation of process improvement methodologies, including SPC
- Leadership and project management skills required to drive effective training initiatives
- Willingness and ability to work different shifts
- Travel up to approximately 5%
