Your Role on Our Team

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical failures and perform preventive maintenance while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic systems using schematics and technical drawings.

  • Repair Injection molding machines, robots, fixtures, and other auxiliary equipment related to the injection molding process.

  • Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment.

  • Identify and requisition needed replacement parts and supplies.

  • Work with other mechanics, production personnel, engineers and outside vendors and/or consultants as necessary.

  • Perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance.

  • Complete repairs timely and safely.

  • Report repairs at end of shift.

  • Complete required paperwork, documenting parts and material usage.

  • Understand and follow plant safety practices and safe machine operation.

The TOOLS you'll bring with you:

* High School Diploma or GED

* 8 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.

  • Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to read and understand hydraulic & electrical schematics.

  • Ability to troubleshoot automation PLC controls.

  • Ability to operate lathes, milling machines, welders, and other shop equipment.

  • General knowledge of safe working practices including Lock-Out/Tag Out.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to interpret complex situations and execute actions and plans.

  • Excellent project management skills - ability to manage timelines and meet deadlines.

  • Must be able to work in a cross functional organization.
