Job Summary

The intern position on the Priority Health Commercial Group Marketing team is for someone who has an entrepreneurial spirit, is a multi-taskerwith a can-do positive attitude.

We are a B2B marketing team focused on driving new business growth as well asretainingour current customers.Wealsosupport Salesand ourexternalAgentpartners and Employersthrough various communication channels and content formats.

We are seeking someone who can help us evolve our content marketing strategyacross core audiencesbyshoring up our library of content throughresearching,draftingand publishinglong and short-formhealth insurance industrycontent. Will be developingvarious formats,blog posts, external email communications, webpage contentand more.The ideal candidate willhave akeeneye for detail andunderstanding complex concepts to help synthesize into relevant content. Ifyou'relooking to learnthe art and science of marketing and communicationsthrough the lends of the health insurance industry and thrivein a hands-on, fast-paced environment, then we would love to learn from you as well.

Essential Functions

Help to evolveour content marketing strategy by developingand writingnew contentpiecesabout Priority Health's productsand servicesacross our various audiences (agents, employers, sales), alongside our Sr. Content Marketing Specialist. Duties will include:

  • Maintaining our content calendar, as well as coordinating updates with both the ES Marketing team and others.
  • Researchingvarious topicsto support content priorities and content development
  • Writing for various content formats andidentifyingnew formats to test/learn
  • Network with teams in the Employer Solutions division by interviewingsubject matter expertsfor various content pieces
  • Summarizing informationinto content outlinesand/or key takeaways (i.e.reviewing data for insights, taking notesduring meetings)
  • Updateexistingcontent (one-pagers, web pages, brochures, sales presentations,etc.)
  • Proofreadingworkfor tone, style,grammar,and formatting
  • Assisting the Sr. Content Marketing Specialist and other team members with executing on content projects
  • Researching various topics as outlined on our content calendar or as they arise
  • Proofreading work for tone, style, grammar, and formatting
  • Updating existing content and identify other channels to use that content
  • Writing for various audiences and marketing channels
  • Capturing and summarizing information into content outlines and/or key takeaways (i.e. analyzing data for reporting, taking notes during meetings)
  • Supporting team in project management function, by writing creative briefs, developing timelines, tracking projects and collaborating across teams

Assistthe team with the following projects:

  • Executive Presence
  • Employer Engagement
  • Product launchesand support
  • Helping to draft content for Priority Health'sThink Healthblog 'At Work' section
Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Enrolled in a university pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in the area of accountability in Junior or Senior year.

Preferred

  • Recent graduate from an associate or bachelor's degree program.
