Overview A growing, privately held organization is looking to add a Financial Analyst to its team. This role will partner closely with the Finance Manager and broader business leaders to support planning, reporting, and strategic analysis across the organization. This is a high-impact position for someone who enjoys digging into data, building insights, and working cross-functionally to help guide business decisions. What You'll Be Doing Support the budgeting and forecasting process, including gathering inputs and tracking performance against plan Assist with monthly close deliverables, including variance analysis and reporting packages Analyze financial results and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement Partner with teams across operations, commercial, and leadership to validate assumptions and improve forecast accuracy Build and maintain financial models to support scenario analysis and business initiatives Help prepare presentations and reporting materials for leadership review Contribute to long-range planning and strategic initiatives Identify ways to streamline reporting and improve existing financial processes What Success Looks Like Able to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights Builds strong relationships across teams and becomes a go-to finance partner Demonstrates attention to detail while managing multiple priorities Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field ~2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related role Experience working with financial data in an ERP or reporting system Strong Excel skills (modeling, analysis, data manipulation) Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or month-end processes preferred Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders Nice to Have Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) Familiarity with financial planning tools or large datasets Background in a fast-paced or growing organization Why This Role High visibility to leadership Opportunity to influence key business decisions Strong exposure across multiple areas of the business Clear path for growth within finance Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
