This
role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial
records and reports. This role involves overseeing complex accounting tasks,
including general ledger maintenance, financial analysis, and month-end and
year-end closing processes. The Senior Accountant will collaborate with
cross-functional teams to streamline accounting operations and implement best
practices. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting
principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in
a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The successful candidate will play a
key role in supporting the financial health of the organization and
contributing to the continuous improvement of the Shared Service Center's
operations.

Key Tasks

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
  
• Provide
  accounting analysis to assist in supporting business controllers.
  
• Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and other
  regulatory requirements.
  
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of
  accounting transactions, assets and reconciliations.
  
• Maintain daily cash approvals and bank
  reconciliations.
  
• Compile and prepare tax returns filings.
  
• Partner with key stakeholders to provide
  accounting guidance as needed for proper recording or to facilitate
  transactions through the accounting process
  
• Work with external and internal auditors to
  provide requested information
  
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and company
  policies
  
• Provide support for upgrades and projects as
  needed, in regards to training, testing and SME support.
  
• Other
  duties as needed

Your Background

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS and financial
  reporting standards
