About the Role:

As a Maintenance Technician at Contech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous operation of our manufacturing equipment. Your responsibilities include:




  • Provides technical expertise to troubleshoot, repair, and install all plant equipment. This includes electrical, controls, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.


  • Is accountable for Total Predictive Maintenance (TPM) process.


  • Educates, directs, and supports employees in reference to implementation and maintenance of our CMMS system, TPM and equipment repair compliance.


  • Manages maintenance budget.


  • Identifies cost-effective solutions for replacing obsolete and defective components.


  • Adjusts, repairs, or replaces parts, assemblies, and machine equipment.


  • Reads and interprets blueprints for repair and installation of equipment.


  • Responsible for spare parts inventory.


  • Project management, development, and follow up for company initiatives.



About You:

We Require:




  • High School Diploma or GED.


  • Demonstrated understanding of industrial mechanical/electrical problems and fixes.


  • Good organizational and leadership skills.


  • Experience with manufacturing equipment. This includes PLCY, sensors, controls, hydraulics and pneumatics, along with mechanical drive systems.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates the ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Good root cause problem solving skills.

  • Electrical, hydraulics, plumbing, and fabrication experience preferred.
