Role Summary
We are seeking an Electrician to join our team in Aurora, Ohio. This senior-level position represents the highest tier in the electrical assembly team, responsible for leading complex projects, coordinating contractors, and ensuring that all electrical builds meet the company's high standards of safety, quality, and performance. The Electrician serves as a technical and leadership resource, guiding teams through challenging builds and driving continuous improvement across the assembly process.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead electrical assembly projects from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, and execution
- Lead field installations, customer startups, and internal service centers, traveling up to 15% and supervising subcontractors as required (both mechanical and electrical)
- Provide guidance on scheduling, estimate times to build, and resource allocation
- Review and interpret advanced electrical schematics, ensuring accuracy in implementation and identifying potential issues before build
- Provide hands-on technical support for complex wiring, troubleshooting, and system commissioning as needed
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), NEC, and internal policies
- Evaluate and implement process improvements and standardization to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety across projects
- Mentor and train lower-level assemblers, fostering skill development and team growth
- Support customer-focused initiatives, including on-site installations, testing, or commissioning when required
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be capable of serving as an agent of the company (meets with customers, comfortable in stressful situations, able to address issues without placing blame)
- Extensive experience in electrical assembly, wiring, and industrial equipment integration
- Proven leadership experience, including directing teams and managing contractors
- Strong ability to interpret and apply complex electrical schematics and engineering documentation
- Advanced knowledge of NEC standards, LOTO procedures, and industrial electrical safety practices
- Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to identify and resolve technical issues while balancing cost, schedule, and quality requirements
- Ability to safely use forklift, scissors lift, and cranes
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, working in hot/cold environments, and carrying tools up/down ladders
