Your Team, Your Impact

The team is responsible for the software quality assurance for all product lines of Marvell's Custom Cloud Solutions business unit and Multi-Market business unit. The team develops software validation plans and automation solutions, performs system level validation of hardware and firmware, and provides technical support to marketing, application engineering, and customers.

What You Can Expect

The Marvell software team is looking to hire a Principal QA engineer whose role is to design and execute test plans and test cases that ensure the delivery of high-quality product to customer. Successful candidates must have a strong passion for the latest technologies and strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Work closely with peers in a team of skilled engineers validating cut-edge data center products.

In this role you will participate in firmware qualifications and support tier-1 customers:
* Design test plan and test cases
* Validate firmware features on virtual development kit, FPGA, and reference design boards, and on customer platforms
* Develop automated tests.
* Communicating test planning and test results with tier-1 customers

* Supporting tier-1 customers in integrating test automation into customer test solutions

What We're Looking For

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 10-15 years of related professional experience. OR Master's degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 5-10 years of experience.

Required experience:
* Good at least with one of programming languages (prefer c/c++)
Experience in one or multiple of the following technology areas:
* ARM processor
* CXL memory expansion
* NVMe storage accelerator

* Excellent oral and written communication skills is required

Desired:

* It would be a big plus if candidate has application engineering (AE) or field application engineering (FAE) experience

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

154,680 - 231,700, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
