Quality Assurance Support - Supplier Quality

Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI All Hours Available

OVERVIEW:

Working as Quality Assurance Support, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks involved with creating and maintaining supplier performance data, product quality alerts, writing reports and supporting the quality team in everyday tasks. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

o Understanding product specifications using consensus standards or customer prints

o Completing supplier maintenance forms such as scorecards

o Scheduling testing of various types of products

o Administering product quality alerts and recalls

o Researching inventory transactions

o Compiling quarterly reports of supplier performance, product quality, and test data for five global regions

o Providing customer and supplier outreach

o Uploading completed documents to intracompany and public databases

o Communicating project status and results

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

o 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work

o Excellent written and oral communication skills

o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite

o Highly motivated, self-directed and customer service oriented

o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities

o Work independently as well as in a team environment

o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork

o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

o Prior experiencing using Microsoft OneNote

FULL-TIME BENEFITS:

Fastenal offers a competitive benefits package to all full-time employees. This package includes Health, Life, Long Term Disability, and Dental Insurance, in addition to, paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, and 401(k) with an employer contribution.

COMPENSATION:

The base pay range for this position is $40,000 - 60,000. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
