Occupational Health Nurse

Position Title: Occupational Health Nurse

Work Location: Round Lake, IL 60073 (2PM to 10:30PM or 3PM to 11:30PM, Monday thru Friday)

Assignment Duration: 11 Months

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Position Summary: Fast paced 24/7 manufacturing environment with onsite health services. Will have to travel between buildings at RL facility. Local candidates preferred.

Background & Context: Direct Patient Care R.N. or LPN specialized in providing a safe work environment for employees. May be a solo practitioner, manager, educator, consultant, nurse practitioner, case manager, and/or corporate director. Will often work with members of an occupational health and safety team (i.e. medicine, safety, industrial hygiene, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

* Responsible for implementing an effective occupational health program at the facility level.

* The OHN acts as a business partner to maximize productivity and reduce health related costs.

* OH program elements include: immediate care for illness and injury, health surveillance, regulatory compliance, case management and health promotion.

* Provides healthcare services to employees or persons who become ill or injured at the facility.

* Practices within the parameters of professional licensure to ensure consistency with legal, labor, regulatory and Corporate requirements.

* Maintaining medical surveillance compliance, injury/illness intake, case management, and wellness initiatives.

Qualification & Experience:

* Medical Triage experience.

* Medical Surveillance - Any Certifications in the following: Audio Metric, Eye Test, Physicals, Blood Work, Respirator.

* Coaching General Wellness.

* Can provide general education.

* Occupational health experience, case management, public health, soft skills, computer skills.

* Preferred tools, technologies, and systems the contractor should be familiar with Benchmark (Medcare) and Microsoft office.
